Madison Metro and Metro Plus Service Canceled

The severe winter weather has forced Madison Metro to cancel all service for today. A decision on when to resume service will be made later today. The cancellation is for all Metro transit service including Metro Plus. "I support Metro's decision to stay off the roads today," said Mayor Dave Cieslewicz. "That's good advice for everyone. I'm sure our customers will understand the need to make this decision given the severe conditions." Residents who use Metro Plus service for critical medical appointments such as kidney dialysis are advised to contact one of the medical transport services in the area.
