Yard Waste Drop Off Sites To Open Saturday March 28th

The weather is warming up and thousands of Madison residents are heading out to do yard work. With that yard works comes yard debris leaves, plant stalks and weeds. The City of Madison yard waste drop off sites will open for the season on Saturday March 28th. "Our yard waste drop off sites will open summer hours on Saturday March 28th," Madison recycling coordinator George Dreckmann said. Madison's yard waste drop off sites are located at 1501 W. Badger Rd., 4602 Sycamore Av, and 402 South Point Rd. Starting the 28th the sites will be open seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The sites will also be open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 8 p.m. "Right now, our sties at 1501 W. Badger Rd. and 4602 Sycamore Av. are open winter hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.," Dreckmann said. "The South Point Rd. site is closed until the 28th."
